EDR is an Oil & Gas consultancy, based in the Channel Islands and providing truly independent consultancy expertise to exploration and development programs through consultancy and their innovative EP&D Insource® solution.
EDR was setup in 2018 by husband and wife team, Edward and Samantha Bowen, both previous shareholders and directors of the EPI Group. Following a Private Equity MBO in 2014, Edward continued to lead that business through a series of service line diversifications, debt refinancing and corporate restructuring in one of the harshest Oil & Gas environments. He left in 2018 and leads the commercial side of EDR.
Brian and Jenny Goddard, founders of the EPI Group, continue to act as Board Advisors for EDR, providing valuable backing, guidance and support on an ongoing basis.
Samantha Bowen commented: ‘2018 was the right time to setup a new consultancy to challenge a rather outdated model, particularly given the fragmented and changing competitive landscape which has reduced choice for operators.
